Candle Care Tips and FAQs

Here are some candle care tips:

The first burn of any candle is the most important. The first burn should be 2-3 hours long, so the top layer of the candle can melt. This ensures that the candle doesn't tunnel. Once a candle has tunneled, it reduces the amount of wax available to burn and shortens the burn time.
Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours. Long burns times can lead to overheated glass.
Trim your candles to 1/4" each time you light your candle to prevent the flame becoming too large and avoid smoking.
Keep the wax pool free of any debris.
Keep candles out of reach from children and pets and away from curtains or any flammable materials.
Do not leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep candles away from any fans, windows or air currents.
Allow your candle to cool for at least 2 hours between burns.
Store candles in a cool and dry place, with their lid on.

Are the candles all-natural?
Yes, the wax is 100% natural soy and free of chemicals found in traditional paraffin waxes. The wicks are all-natural cotton as well for a clean burn. They are lead and zinc-free.
What is the difference between regular (paraffin) and soy wax?
Paraffin wax is made from petroleum and is not a sustainable as it's made by removing the waxy substance from crude oil. Soy wax on the other hand, is made from extracting oil from soybeans, which are a renewable resource.

Do soy wax candles have longer burn times?
Yes, soy tends to be more dense, which means it takes longer for the flame to burn through
